Grant Funds Available for Creative & Cultural Professionals

Erie, PA – The Erie County Redevelopment Authority is now accepting applications for its stART Up Creative Business Development Grant Program; grants up to $5000 will be awarded to eligible creative for-profit entrepreneurs to support business formation and growth.

“This grant cycle, we are expanding our definition of creative professionals to include non-traditional creative entrepreneurs,” says Tina Mengine, Erie County Redevelopment Authority chief executive officer. “We encourage entrepreneurs in the food and beverage and manufacturing sector who are developing new ways to do business to consider applying.”

Businesses less than two years old, established businesses, sole proprietorships or incorporated businesses with FEINs are eligible to apply.

Funds for the stART Up Creative Business Development Grant Program are made possible with an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant from Erie County and the former StARTup Incubator and are intended to support businesses development and job growth.
