Tuesday Nov 1st, 2022

Tina Mengine, CEO of the Erie County Redevelopment Authority (ECRDA), was recently appointed to the Pennsylvania State Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) Board by Governor Tom Wolf.

“Across Erie County, business and community leaders alike recognize Tina’s hard work and expertise,” said Kate Philips, ECRDA Board Chair. “This appointment is a testament to her accomplishments as well as important recognition by Governor Wolf of her tremendous added value to the Transportation Advisory Committee.”

Mengine brings more than 20 years of public service to TAC, having worked at various levels of government where she was actively involved in transportation concerns and solutions, from city streets to the runway extension of the Erie International Airport. As CEO of ECRDA she is at the intersection of transportation and economic development.

Established in 1970, the Transportation Advisory Committee consults with and advises the Secretary of Transportation and the State Transportation Commission (STC), while undertaking in-depth studies on key transportation issues and specific problems of interest. The Committee also assists with the allocation of resources, and serves as a valuable liaison between PennDOT and the general public.
