FishUSA will move into the Ironworks Square business and technology park on the former Erie Malleable Iron Co. property.

The ECRDA 2025 annual report shows that we advanced major projects, strengthened operations, supported new and expanding businesses, and laid the groundwork for future growth across Erie County.

For more than 50 years, Erie workers at Modular Engineering have been part of Erie County's manufacturing economy, building modular commercial and industrial enclosures and buildings. They have signed an agreement with the Erie County Redevelopment Authority to lease a new 75,000-square-foot factory and headquarters building on 23 acres at the western edge of the former International Paper Co. property at 1318 East Lake Road.

For more than 20 years after International Paper Co. closed its Erie plant, a new building is expected to rise on the western edge of the property.

Sally Guzik, from Meadville, is the new president of a consulting firm, Fourth Economy, working to reinvent Erie.
