Manufacturing provides the foundation for long-term, sustainable growth in Erie County. A new collaboration between ECRDA and the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority (ECGRA) helps local manufacturers create jobs, strengthen supply lines and drive progress.

ECRDA thanks ECGRA for its $1 million investment in the Main Street Impact Fund. This loan fund will allow ECRDA to help more businesses grow and create jobs.

The impact of the partnership was recently highlighted during a walk-through event at EFI Connection, an Erie manufacturer of engine wire harness assemblies. EFI Connection received a $95,000 Main Street Impact Loan administered by ECRDA and supported by ECGRA to invest in a new wire processing system that will increase efficiency, scale production, and position the company for continued growth.

A recent Erie Times-News/GoErie.com column by ECRDA President & CEO Tina Mengine and ECGRA Executive Director Perry Wood, “Investing in Erie manufacturing is the key to future growth,” also spotlighted the collaboration and the importance of manufacturing to the growth of Erie County communities.
